Clinical presentation: A 43-year-old man requested a third opinion. A thyroid nodule had been discovered on screening. The patient visited previously two endocrinology unit and FNA was performed twice. The first was 'suspicious' (Bethesda 4) while the second was benign (Bethesda 2).

Palpation: a not firm nodule in the left lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 1.13 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the larger nodule located lateral in the left lobe.
