Clinical presentation: a 64-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter she had discovered herself for 19 years. She noticed a slow, continuous growth over the decades and the lesion has already caused compression signs for several years. Scintigraphy was the only special examination which has been performed for 9 years and resulted in bilateral nodules with decreased uptake.
Palpation: the right lobe was significantly while the left hugely enlarged and nodular.
Laboratory test: TSH 2.71 mIU/L.

the nodule in the left lobe.
