Clinical presentation. A 45-year old woman had undergone a subtotal left lobectomy for 19 years. Histopathology disclosed benign hyperplastic nodules. In the previous years a slowly increasing mass appeared in the operated left lobe.

Palpation: multiple nodules in the isthmus and in the left lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 0.82 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the small lesion in the ventral part of the right lobe.
