Clinical presentation: a 46-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter discovered by the patient herself. She had difficulties in swallowing.
Palpation: a firm nodule in the right lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 2.95 mIU/L.
Lesions in question:
1. The large nodule in the upper two-third of the right lobe.
2. The uncertain lesion in the lower third of the right lobe.
