Clinical presentation: a 67-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter discovered on screening.

Palpation: a not firm nodule in the right lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 1.38 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the larger nodule in the upper third of the right lobe. (The lesion is composed of a larger cystic part and a solid area in the lower part.)
