lymphocytic thyroiditis - Figure 5 . Pseudonodular form of
Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
This presentation is caused by proliferation of connective tissue. The numerous discrete echonormal lesions divided by fibrous bundle makes a lobular appearance to the thyroid. The size of the lesions is in the range of 3 to 15 mm. |
