In contrast with a reactive-type lymph nodes, the vascularization is frequently increased in metastatic tumors. Even more important and specific sign is an irregularly increased vascular pattern.

The lymph node presents an irregular mass (upper image, right in the imagea regular hilum. It is worth noting the irregular shape of the node and the indentation caused by the node (red arrows).

The lymph node presents microcalcifications and displays an irregular vascular pattern.
