Clinical presentation. A thyroid nodule was discovered in a 59-year-old man on routine examination prior to cholecystectomy.
Palpation: a firm nodule in the left lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 1.94 mIU/L.
Lesion in question:
the nodule in the left lobe.
Additional information on the lesion
Dimensions (width x depth x length): 15x15x22 mm.
Taller-than wide sign present: present.
Intranodular vascularization: absent.
Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
