Clinical presentation: A 41-year-old man was referred for aspiration cytology of a newly discovered multinodular goiter.
Palpation: an elastic nodule in the RIGHT lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 1.14 mIU/L.
Lesion in question:
the cystic nodule in the middle third of the LEFT lobe.
Additional information on the lesion
Dimensions (width x depth x length): 14x13x22 mm.
Taller-than wide sign present: absent.
Intranodular vascularization: absent.
Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
