Clinical presentation: A 69-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a slowly growing mass in the right thyroid lobe. She had no complaints.
Palpation: a not firm, large nodule in the right lobe.
Laboratory test: TSH 0.71 mIU/L, FT4 15.6 pM/L.
Lesion in question:
the nodule occupying almost the whole right lobe.
Additional information on the lesion
Dimensions (width x depth x length): 39x35x46 mm.
Taller-than wide sign present: absent.
Intranodular vascularization: absent.
Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
