Clinical presentation: A 67-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter discovered on screening.

Palpation: a not firm nodule in the right lobe.

Laboratory test: TSH 1.38 mIU/L.

Lesion in question:

the solid nodule at the border of the middle and lower part of the right lobe.

Additional information on the lesion

Dimensions (width x depth x length): 11x10x13 mm.

Taller-than wide sign present: absent.

Intranodular vascularization: absent.

Pathologic adenopathy: absent.
