The borders of the nodule - case 469 (ultrasonographic picture 5b)

Left lobe, longitudinal scan. The nodule presents the so-called starry sky phenomenon and the borders are very difficult to judge. The central core of the tumor is marked with yellow, the isolated microcalcifications outside the core are marked with red arrows. Green arrows point to lobulations of the margin.
