Right lobe, longitudinal scan

Middle part of the neck, 5 cm above the thyroid, longitudinal scan. The mass has numerous punctate echogenic foci. These are partly granular, partly linear and great proportion of them is related to tiny ventral cystic areas. Therefore, they are more probably back wall cystic figures than microcalcifications.
