Intranodular hyperechogenic figures - case 1539 (ultrasonographic picture 7)

Although the upper figure (left in the image) might be doubtful but if we take the presentation of the entire thyroid into account than we should not have any doubt that this figure is also a colloid crystal. Moreover, it is located in cystic fluid, so it cannot be a microcalcification.
