The echogenicity of the nodule - case 2121 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. It is equivocal whether the ventral, relatively large hypoechoic area is cystic or solid. In the latter case the nodule would be categorized as heterogeneos. In my opinion, this area is more likely to be cystic than solid.
