Extrathyroidal spread - case 2069 (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Left lobe, longitudinal scan. The ventral and lower three-fourth of the nodule is blurred. The degree of abutting is difficult to judge, but it seems more likely in this view, that there is a thin echonormal parenchyma between the ventral surface of the nodule and the lobe.
