Upper part of the right lobe, transverse view. The thyroid is minimally hypoechogenic. There are two small cystic areas and a moderately hypoechogenic lesion. The latter displays non-specific hyperechogenic figures, both lines and granules. These correspond to the normal architecture of the thyroid composed of connective tissue.
