Lymphocytic thyroiditis - case 41 (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Left lobe, transverse view. There is a hypoechogenic lesion in the lateral part of the lobe. It contains microcalcifications. The extralesional part of the lobe presents a similar echo pattern.
