Case 50 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Left lobe, transverse scan. There is a more hypoechogenic nodule in the ventral part of the lobe and a smaller, similarly more hypoechogenic and more inhomogeneous lesion in the dorsolateral part of the lobe. It is worth to compare the borders and the margin of the large nodule and those of the small lesion: the small lesion shows partly puzzle-like, partly blurred borders.
