Case 856 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Isthmid part of the thyroid, transverse scan. The surgical incision is clearly visible in the right side of the isthmus. The thyroid is replaced in the isthmus and in the left lobe partly by regenerative tissue partly by muscle fiber.
