Study on 100 consecutive patients with thyroid nodule - case 056 (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. There is a hyperechogenic nodule in the middle part of the lobe. The hypoechogenic fields upper (left) and lower (right) to the lesion are optical artifacts: because of anatomical reasons the transducer could not be appropriately place to the entire right lobe (see video).
