Consecutively operated patients with autoimmune thyroid disease - case 2 (457) (ultrasonographic picture 3)

Lower part of the right lobe, longitudinal view. There is a hypoechogenic discrete lesion. The ultrasound pattern of this area differs form the non-lesional part of the lobe and the lesion presents halo sign. On the ultrasound presentation, it is doubtful whether the lesion is a pathological nodule or not.
