Right lobe, longitudinal view. The ventral hypoechogenic area is remarkable because it is hypoechogenic, presents ambiguous echogenic figure and has blurred borders. The situation is paradoxical: although this discrete area is with great probability not a nodule in pathological sense, cytological evaluation has to be considered because of the features described.
