Right lobe, longitudinal view. The dorsal largest hypoechogenic area was described as suspicious on the previous ultrasound examination and in fact this is really an infiltrative pattern: the upper part of this area (left in the image) invades the normal parenchyma. However, the infiltrative process in this case is not a tumor but the thyroiditis.
