Consecutive patients with the final diagnosis of Hashimoto's thyroiditis - case 35 (1620) (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal view. There is a moderately hypoechogenic area in the middle third while an echonormal one in the lower part of the lobe. The origin of the former is doubtful, it might be a pathological nodule.
