Clinical presentation: A 12-year-old girl was referred for evaluation of obesity.

Palpation: no abnormality.

Laboratory test: TSH 1.43 mIU/l.

Aspiration cytology not performed.

Diagnosis. Euthyroidism. Autoimmune thyroiditis.

Summary. The complaints are not explained by a thyroid problem. Yearly TSH check was advised because of Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
