Clinical presentation: A 66-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of hypothyroidism. Sha has been treated with amiodarone for 39 months. Hypothyroidism was detected on regular check.

Palpation: no abnormality.

Laboratory test: TSH 13.1 mIU/L, FT4 7.85 pM/L, aTPO 0.3 U/mL.

Diagnosis. Hypothyroidism. No nodule of clinical or oncological importance.

Suggestion: Suggestion: daily 75 microgram levothyroxine replacement therapy. TSH check in 3 months. Ultrasound in three years.
