Discrete lesion or nodule in Hashimoto's thyroiditis - case 30 (812) (ultrasonographic picture 3)

Right lobe, longitudinal view. In this section, the lesion is echonormal and seems to be the largest echonormal part of the lobe and not a true nodule. The lesion is probably not a nodule in pathological sense.
