Right lobe, longitudinal scan

Left lobe, longitudinal view. The lesion has irregular, lobulated surface caused by the infiltration of the underlying thyroiditis. The primary event is the lymphocytic infiltration (yellow arrows), while the protrusions (red arrows) are only the consequences of the former.
