Discrete lesion or nodule in Hashimoto's thyroiditis - case 35 (61) (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal view. Some parts, first of all the one located in the dorsal part of the lobe are less inhomogeneous because of the lack of fibrosis. These areas are not well circumscribed. These are unlikely true nodules.
