Intranodular hyperechogenic figures - case 1332 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Left lobe, transverse view. The nodule in the ventromedial part of the left lobe has bright hyperechogenic granules and lines which are partly related to small cystic areas partly not related to them. The former are caused by back wall cystic enhancement while the latter are presentations of connective tissue.
