The shape of the nodule - case 2016 (ultrasonographic picture 1)
|
|
Right lobe, transverse scan. There is a hypoechoic nodule in the ventral part of the lobe. The nodule presents bulging, however there is a thin normal tissue ventral to the nodule. It means that the bulging should not be overinterpreted as a possible sign of extrathyroidal spread.
