The shape of the nodule - case 873 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan, color Doppler mode. The larger nodule presents perilesional vascular pattern while there is a small lesion in the lower pole. This shows irregularly increased intranodular blood flow. (The cytological images of this lesion are presented later.)
