Parathyroid lesions - case 39 (ultrasonographic picture 3)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. Right to the relatively larger hypoechogenic mass there is a small moderately hypoechogenic, inhomogeneous lesion. To former is the enlarged parathyroid while the latter proved to be a hyperplastic nodule on histopathology.
