Parathyroid lesions - case 755 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Left lobe, longitudinal view. The deeply hypoechogenic lesion is close to or within the lower part of the left thyroid. There is a hyperechogenic lesion in the central part of the thyroid. The latter proved to be a hyperplastic nodule on histopathological examination.
