Thyroid cancers - case 320 (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Right lobe, transverse scan. Lateral to the artery, there is a hypoechogenic lesion which sonographic pattern is identical to the tumor seen within the thyroid. Histology disclosed that the tumor spread directly outside the thyroid.
