Thyroid cancers - case 654 (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Left lobe, transverse scan. An extremely large, hypoechogenic mass infiltrates the left thyroid. The borders of the tumor are irregular. Normal thyroid can be identified only in the ventral part of the lobe.
