Right lobe, transverse scan. The thyroid is minimally hypoechogenic. Beside several tiny more hypoechogenic areas, there is a relatively larger lesion in the ventrolateral part of the lobe. This lesion has blurred borders. Note that the tumor is in the very proximity to the edge of the lobe at the ventrolateral part.
