Discrete lesion or nodule in Hashimoto's thyroiditis - case 1 (1615) (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal view. It is doubtful whether the lesion is a nodule in pathological sense. The irregular borders and the presence of similar, smaller lesions elsewhere decrease the likelihood of a true nodule.
