Discrete lesion or nodule in Hashimoto's thyroiditis - case 4 (104) (ultrasonographic picture 4)

Left lobe, transverse view. There is a homogeneous, moderately hypoechogenic lesion in the lateral part of the lobe. Taking the pattern of the entire thyroid into account, this lesion might also correspond to a pseudonodule, nevertheless this lesion is more likely a true nodule than other discrete areas.
