The left presentation characterized by an echonormal thyroid and an absent vascularization is an extremely rare situation in hyperthyroid phase of Graves' disease. In such cases the presence of a thyroiditis and even the ingestion of thyroid hormones shold be considered.
The decreased vascularization presneted in the right case is also a rare finding in hyperthyroid state of Graves' disease.
