The vascularization has no relevance in the diagnosis of medullary cancer. Most cases present a type 1 vascular pattern, i.e. neither perinodular nor intranodular blood flow (first and second row). The second most frequent presentation is type 3 vascular pattern, i.e. increased intranodular blood flow (third row).
