Clinical presentation: A 47-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of a nodular goiter. The patient noticed a lump in the region of the thyroid four years ago. She had no complaints but her husband suggested to visit a specialist.

Palpation: Both lobes had non-firm nodules.

Hormonal evaluation: TSH 1.18 mIU/L, FT4 12.5 pM/L.
