Clinical presentation: A 49-year-old woman was referred for evaluation of diffuse complaints suggesting thyroid dysfuction, including weight gain, disturbed sleeping, palpitation.
Palpation. No abnormality.
Laboratory test: TSH 4.01 mIU/L, aTPO 261 U/mL.
Ultrasonography. The thyroid was moderately hypoechogenic. No lesions of pathological sense could be observed.
Suggestion. TSH determination in a year's time.
