Left lobe, longitudinal view. The arrows point to the misinterpreted area of the lobe. The possible causes for misinterpretation are the presence of more hypoechogenic areas (one of them pointed with pink arrow), the multiple tiny hypoechogenic areas at the lower border (pointed with red arrows) which might be misinterpreted as a partial halo. The insertion at the lower part of the lobe (pointed with green arrow) might had also role in the false diagnosis.
