Differentiation of discrete lesions - case 165 (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal view. The ventral hypoechogenic area is remarkable because it is hypoechogenic, presents ambiguous echogenic figure and has blurred borders. The situation is paradoxical: although this discrete area is with great probability not a nodule in pathological sense, cytological evaluation is necessary because of the features described above.
