Right lobe, another horizontal scan. The lesion in the central part of the lobe might be a true nodule, it presents echogenic figures caused by posterior enhancement. The deeply hypoechogenic area in the medial part of the lobe is very likely not a nodule in pathological sense but a more active focus of Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
