Clinical presentation: an 80-year old woman was referred for an evaluation of atrial fibrillation. A firm nodule was palpable in the right lobe.
Palpation: a very firm nodule in the right lobe.
Hormonal examination: indicated euthyroidism.
Ultrasonography: revealed a solitary hypoechogenic nodule with coarse calcification .
FNAC report was follicular tumor.
Histopathology: macroinvasive follicular cancer.
