Chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis - Case 6. (ultrasonographic picture 2)

Right lobe, longitudinal scan. Fibrotic changes are demonstrated on this image. The lesion in the dorsal part present similar echopattern. The fibrosis ventral to the area caused the false impression in the former examiner that the area is a nodule.
