Subacute granulomatous de Quervain's thyroiditis - Case 41. (ultrasonographic picture 1)

Right lobe, horizontal scan. The right lobe is echonormal and contains a large hypoechogenic area in the vetrolateral part. This has sharp borders. There is another hypoechogenic area in the dorsal part of the lobe which has blurred borders.
